Overall, Hyundai manufactures very well make cars.
However, the 2002 – 2005 cars typically have issues with rust, paint quality, emission control sensors, and some squeaks and rattles from the interior. Air or a vacuum leaks are also common on most models, unmetered air can enter the engine through a vacuum leak, a dirty airflow sensor that is not reading airflow accurately, an EGR valve is not closing and is leaking exhaust into the intake manifold and/or an EGR valve that is allowing too much flow. We also see problems with the throttle body being covered with carbon causing idle and hesitation problems.
Later model vehicles have some false positive check engine light errors. We have the experience and know how to quickly and efficiently diagnose and repair common Hyundai problems.
